Intel

“DO”
This started as a rip video, and then we ended up shooting about 85% of the footage with Sherpas Cinema in Vancouver. Entirely remote shoot (for agency/client) with 25 OCPs, set builds, drones near downtown Vancouver, and multiple locations. Challenging production to handle remotely, but we pulled it off.

“Behind It All”
We had less than 7 days to shoot in NYC during peak Covid in late March/early April 2020. Had to hire a photographer under the guise of him capturing footage/stills for news outlets (we were supposed to get 3 days of shooting in, but his crew quit after 2 days for safety reasons), and then we had about 48hours total to edit/finish everything. First posting we saw for a rough cut was at 4am, and had it front of clients eight hours later. This was a wild one, but ultimately super stoked on the music track we landed.

“Diplo x Intel”
Diplo and Intel paired up for a virtual concert experience, and I produced the docu-style film seen here. Again, entirely remote production (agency/client).

“IT Heroes”
Extraordinarily lean budget for what we pulled off. Shot on location in Warsaw, Poland in early December 2020. I traveled to locked-down Warsaw for this production, while the rest of the agency and clients stayed behind. Edited on a shoestring budget by a shop based in Paris… not an award-winning piece by any means, but for the budget, felt we executed a minor miracle.

“Start Here”
One of many purely post-produced videos during the summer of Covid. Dealing with the likes of Catch & Release and Jukin Media for UGC, stock, etc.

“Weekends with Intel” Campaign OLV
It’s been quite a while since I can say I’ve been proud of a job I produced, but this little campaign was the exception. Faced with a lean budget and tasked with combining both quality production and quantity of spots for both creatives and clients, I dug deep to find the best solutions and production partners possible to make this happen. Called in favors to dear friends at MPC LA and Work Edit to help us on the post side of things, and worked tirelessly with Stink Film’s EP to figure out how to deliver the best content possible for the money, especially mid-Covid.

We shot these five spots in February with Owen Trevor – remote “overnight” shoots, which were a real slog, but I’m so pleased with how these turned out in the end. Built 5 x 2-wall sets on a stage in Kiev, Ukraine, and knocked them out across a pre-light and 2 shoot days. Primarily cast out of Kiev, but had to cast out of Germany for one role, as well. Creative team was so stoked with how they turned out (especially knowing our budget challenges), they ended up naming the character in Bonsai after me, which was quite flattering and a warm reminder that I indeed helped bring their vision to life.
Main deliverables were :15s (these are slightly extended agency cuts), but also kicked out :06s and GIFS in 9:16 and 1:1 for social content.
